Genesis – Congo. 5 Comments; 0 Tags I heard it for the first time on the Turn It On Again cd. It's a pretty cool song; but the band will never be the same without P.C Pretty darn horrible, but still the best song on Calling All Stations. Too bad Calling All Stations is one of the worst albums of all time.

May 07,  · Calling All Stations is a bit of a scientific marvel -- it has the power to slow down time. Every minute of this record feels three times that. Example: I checked the time left on "Congo," thinking we were going into minute 6 or so, and was in complete shock that it was only on for two minutes/5(79).

Review by UMUR. SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Honorary Collaborator. "Calling All Stations" is the 15th full-length studio album by UK pop/rock act Genesis. The album was released through Virgin Records in the UK and through Atlantic Records in The United States in September /5(99).

The music on Calling All Stations is long, dense, and lugubrious, but it's given the same immaculate, pristine production that was the hallmark of their adult contemporary work with Collins. It wants to be an art rock album, but not at the expense of losing the pop audience -- which makes it all the stranger that the group doesn't really write pop songs on Calling All Stations.

's Calling All Stations, their first post-Collins effort, teamed Banks and Rutherford with vocalist Ray Wilson on an album that recalled Genesis' progressive roots. Features the hit single Congo. The DVD extras include a trio of videos, the album's electronic press kit, as well as live performances recorded in Germany and kaubersbhaginyrcofobosimoworkzo.coinfos:
